every pastor/Christian article I read...
talk about how we are living this this age or that age.
1. Relativism age -belief that all points of view are equally valid. What you think is right and wrong is right and wrong for you, and what I think is right and wrong is right and wrong for me. Though our lists may be different, our lists are equally legitimate.
"That's true for you but not for me"
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
"You can't judge other cultures by the standards of your own"
2.Postmodernism -refers to a cultural, intellectual, or artistic state lacking a clear central hierarchy or organizing principle and embodying extreme complexity, contradiction, ambiguity, diversity, interconnectedness or interreferentiality, in a way that is often indistinguishable from a parody of itself.
3.Progressivism - refers to ideologies and movements favoring or advocating changes or reform, usually in a statist or egalitarian direction for economic policies (government management) and liberal direction for social policies (personal choice)

yup. important concepts.
while i definitely recommend that you continue reading relevant, i would also suggest that you take a look at other, less-progressive christian periodicals to balance your views. sometimes these progressives tend to lose sight of the original goal, and go crazy.
