i miss japan so much.
so I went to francis bacon exhibition on friday with sva kids.
i need to blog about it before i forget it.
one. I never had so much fun at the met before.
who knew sva kids were so rib splitting funny?
I just thought we were emo. oh my gosh. :D
two. the most important.
francis bacon's exhibition was so aggressive.
very harsh in its perspective. very dark.
very good... but very dark
so i was talking with yura and I was talking to her
about christian art and how its rare in form in modern
students. how francis' art expressed his dark age
what does our art show about our thoughts
especially about our faith.
I began to think about joe's art show back in the far east :D
and I started to dream about sva kids own gallery show
we have one for the atheists and out week..
why not one for us to encourage each other in our walk?!!
it doesn't stop there.. I said it before..
but lets really flip this art world.
why is art always parallel to secularism?
Who made that call? Why not let God
shine through in our art work as well?
i'm excited for the future.

@paulinebk
i must have missed it. or maybe it wasnt good. ill prob go back either today or sometime this week, so ill take another look at it.
@ballroom_brawl - i loved that post.
thats what i mean by creating art the displays your thoughts.mostly we just need the negative connotation of christian faith.like one friend said.. its the atheists with the religious themesin their art... I say its about time that we are christian just do what we do..which is display our faith with our art work as well.
its just too bad that van gogh committed suicide.that path leads to nowhere.
@EmCeeHUMMER - yay. hahaha
